Guess I'm a little late in reading BOB.... but I so agree. I realize that blogging is a good way to 'get the word out' and I know quilt shops use blogging to promote new products, but I find whenever I look at a blog that is truly 'advertising' their wares for sale, I simply quit reading and close it. A lot of times if the word 'shop' or 'store' appear in their blog title, I won't even open it to look.
Katie M. - Same goes for the "awards" that are basically just chain letters - and the "give-aways" that are basically just advertising for the GO! - and the "contests" that are basically just advertising for the sponsors - and the "reviews" that are sponsored by the supplier - and all of other "buy me - buy me" crap out there - ;))
