Bonnie Hunter posted about this year’s -
Quilt show -
In Sisters, Oregon - here -
Great photos of -
The crowd -
The food -
And their table at the trunk show/lecture -
But -
BOB can't see paying $$$ -
For food that she can’t eat -
And a trunk show/lecture -
That she can’t see -
Because the table -
Is so far away - ;))
BOB thinks that -
Rather than actually -
ATTEND the show -
She’ll sit at home -
In her comfy chair -
In her jammies -
With her cup of coffee -
And -
THANKS to bloggers EVERYWHERE -
Check out all of the blog photos -
For FREE - ;))
BOB can't wait to see -
The Long Beach International Quilt Show -
This weekend - ;))
But then again - it’s probably just me.

and BOB won't have to be irritated with rude people who jump in front of her while looking at a quilt or trying to take a picture. As much as I love looking at quilts, I find if I attend a quilt show, I tend to want to see what's new at the vendor's booths :-)
"They" say that you can tell whether a person attending a quilt show is a quilter or not - by where they go first. The non-quilters and newbies will go to see the quilts first - and the quilters will go to see the vendors first. But after a while it all starts to look the same to me. The quilts look like cookie-cutter copies of the latest magazine - and the vendor stuff is same-old-same-old - just more of it - and all in one place - ;))
guess you just want to say you have been there---and then rub everyone else's nose in it by posting pictures. I would like to go there some day but only because I have 3 friends that live in Oregon that I would visit as well.
